Alyson Astleford, PCAM - New Chief Operating Officer

Alyson Astleford, PCAM, is an experienced Association Manager with over seven years in homeowner association (HOA) management. Having grown up in the industry, she developed a deep appreciation for how strong communication and leadership shape thriving communities. Known for her balanced approach of structure, empathy, and connection, Alyson takes pride in fostering collaboration between boards, homeowners, and management teams.

Before rejoining the property management field, Alyson gained valuable leadership and client care experience in the restoration industry, strengthening her skills in process improvement, communication, and team coordination. These experiences complement her passion for efficient operations and exceptional homeowner service.

Alyson remains actively involved with the Community Associations Institute (CAI), serving on CAI National’s Government and Public Affairs Committee and CAI-MN’s Legislative Action Committee. She has also helped shape public policy through her work on national task forces focused on Alternative Dispute Resolution and Board Member Education.

As a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), Alyson is excited to bring her expertise, leadership, and community-first mindset to Compass Property Management, helping communities operate smoothly and thrive.

Outside of work, Alyson embraces life’s adventures. She’s a triplet and the proud dog mom of Maycee, her spirited corgi with plenty of sass. In her free time, she loves hiking, working out, and exploring new places, always finding energy and inspiration wherever she is.
